If you look closely, you can see a reflection of a nearby vending machine.
On the way into work, I stopped by the vending machines at the North Exit of the station. Near there, someone decided to plant some broccoli in a planter made of cinderblocks. It looks like I just missed a shower, judging by how wet the surrounding park and station was.
We got a little break from all the rain this weekend. However, with it came a spike in temperatures in my area. According to the forecast, we might get more rain later this week, which might hinder some people’s plans for the two day holiday. Regardless, it’s nice to see a bit of sun.
It’s supposed to rain for the rest of the week…
Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time at home due to the State of Emergency across Japan. We are highly encouraged to stay home unless necessary, as is 90% of the world. Because of such, I have been finding myself with a lot more time on my hands, which has caused me to get creative in how to spend it. In addition to art, I’ve been working in my garden, cooking a lot, messaging friends and family, and surprisingly watching Netflix.
Normally I am not so big on TV or movies. I might see only one or two movies a year. I often don’t even keep my TV plugged in to be honest, but I need some way to generate some sound, besides the rain.
It’s been raining since Friday, though today we had sun-showers in the afternoon. And although it has been a tad wet, I’ve been keeping the window open to listen. The sound of rain has always been relaxing for me and I love the sound of a good downpour in particular.
And with it, high humidity.
Golden Week’s been pretty wet so far, but the forecasts call for some sun later in the week. Fingers crossed.
The past two rainy seasons were incredibly mild, so it looks like we’re making up for it this year.
