More Pink Flowers

Spring is my second-favorite season, after fall. While the flowers are pretty, and it’s a relief after a hard winter, the weather from March though May is too unpredictable for my tastes.

One day might be very warm, while the next might be downright fridged. It’s so easy to get sick! Our bodies don’t know how to handle it. I’ve been sick twice already, in March alone.

However, spring is also the time for some delicious foods. Asparagus, for example, is a spring food. So is cherry blossom tea.

While spring may not be my number one favorite season, I do like it much more than the humid, muggy summer and the cold, depressing winter.

Magnolia or Dogwood? Don’t matter to me.

Spring has arrived in White Plains, New York. It’s a welcome arrival.

Yesterday, I  met up with some friends to celebrate a birthday. On the way home, I came across this tree, by the trans-center. Because it was a Sunday and also a holiday, I was able to wander about with my phone as I saw fit. No one was out in most places.

Soon enough, the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom. The buds have already appeared on the trees, but they haven’t opened just yet.

Next weekend, I plan to go again to White Plains. Hopefully then I can get some good shots.
