The weather has been increasing as have been my visits to the beach.
Meijo Park, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture
Since the weather was so nice last weekend, I decided to go for a walk around Meijo Park. I went expecting to see more cherry blossoms, as according to the forecast — and yes, it’s a thing — they were supposed to be in bloom.

Lately I’ve taken to spending some time outside before heading into work. I’ve been told that it’s a good way to mentally prepare for the day.

One thing I do love about summer is the abundance of big, fluffy clouds.
Since my current lodgings are in Saitama, I thought it would be a waste to not look around.
I rode the Saikyo line to Yono, which took a few minutes. Then I went for a walk.
The weather was warm but windy. The skies were a wonderful shade of blue with fluffy white clouds.
A good point about this area is the abundance of greenery. It reminds me a lot of White Plains, in New York.
Once, the daughter of a friend of mine, had mentioned that Saitama was a nice place, and I can finally see what she meant.

What am I saying, it’s already here and has been here since the latter half of last week.
The rainy season’s over and now temperatures are high. It’s also been really muggy, so being outside can be unpleasant. However, this is still just the start of summer, so I’m expecting it will get hotter soon enough.
