Today is a lovely day to go for a walk. After going to the doctor, I decided to go for a walk and do a bit of shopping. Although I live in central Japan, there are a lot of places that look a lot like what I imagine Europe to look like. Especially older buildings contructed around the turn of the 20th century. Zoning laws are also vastly different than what I grew up with in the US. You can have an ultra modern apartment complex next to an old wooden house next to an adult club and sex shop. And somewhere around there, they’ll be some roman style collumns and some art deco statue or something.
