Flowers at Lunch

This month has been a trying one. It’s the middle of the busy season in Japan, so we’ve been running around like chickens without heads.

Today was my first slower day all month, since two of my lessons got canceled. It’s also my last week at my current assignment, so I wad given a little extra time to put things in order for the incoming staff.

That being said, I was actually able to go out and enjoy my lunch this afternoon. Mostly, I’ve been popping out to the nearest convenience store and eating lunch at my desk.

The weather was rather nice, if a bit windy. My lunch was scheduled to start at four, so it also wasn’t super crowded.

After lunch, I took a stroll around the train station and shopping centre where my job is located. It has a lovely courtyard where there are a ton of flowers, fountains, and illuminated displays in the winter.

That is where I snapped these pictures. I have no idea as to what kind of flowers these are, but I thought they were pretty. They also came in an aray of colors, as you can tell.

I’m looking forward to my next assignment, though I will miss seeing these flowers.
